Obituary:
"Mrs. Andrew Boyer Dies"
Last Saturday word was received here of the death
of Mrs. Andrew Boyer at the hospital in Mankato. She had
been taking treatment for cancer, in the hospital there for
some time and gradually became weaker and passed to the
great beyond after many trials and intense suffering.
The remains were brot to Bancroft Monday afternoon and taken
to her home in the east part of town. Interment was made
in the Catholic cemetery south of town Wednesday morning
after funeral services were conducted at the church, with
Rev. E. J. Jungblut officiating. The church was crowded with
the friends and relatives of the deceased, who desired to
pay their last respects to the one they had loved and known
so well. Mrs. Boyer was a life long member of the Catholic
church and was devout and sincere in her religious belief.
She has lived with her husband and family in this vicinity
for many years and about two years ago moved to town with
her husband, after many years of labor on the farm. At the
time of her death she had attained the age of 64 years,
6 months and 29 days. Her life was given to
the interests and welfare of her family. She was always
kind and loving and did much towards making many happy. The
many freinds of the family join the Register in extending
sympathy to the sorrowing and heartbroken family.
