United States on or about February 16, 1868. Renounced allegiance to the
Emperor of Germany. Signed: "John Cramer".
Final Papers: Ottertail County District Court, November 15, 1881. Renounced
allegiance to Emperor of Germany. Witnessed by E. E. Curliss and John
Sawbridge. Signed: "John Kramer".
On Nov. 15, John Kraemer also signed for John Koselke, Paul Pischke,
Albert Mielke, and Charles Block. Charles Block signed for Christian
Pesch, Paul Pischke, Albert Mielke, Franz Hagedorn, and John Koselke.

On October 26, 1880; in Fergus Falls, Minnesota; John Kramer's
brother-in-law, Bartholomaus Hengen, was granted his homestead
of 160 acres by the General Land Office of the United States.

On November 21, 1883; in Fergus Falls, Minnesota; "John Kramer"
was granted his homestead of 160 acres by the General Land
Office of the United States.

of the 5th Principal Meridian in Minnesota.)
On May 21, 1884, "John Kramer and
Mary Kramer
his wife" sold their 160 acres of land to Anton Fartmann for
$1400.00.

On May 23, 1884, Bartholomaus Hengen sold his land to
John Kraemer for $1300.00. The 160 acres of land had a
$300.00 mortgage. The indenture was signed by Mathias
Kotschevar, a Notary Public in Douglas County, Minnesota.

According to Plat books:
In 1884, "John Kramer" owned 160 acres in Effington township (Section 18,
Township 131 North, Range 38 West of the 5th Principal Meridian) near
Christian Pesch and Charles Block. By 1902, this land was owned by
Anton Fartmann.
